This piece is another early clay piece I made for a midterm in Art III last year. I have to admit this was not what my original brainstorming had invisioned, but I am not complaining because this is one of my favorite pieces that I’ve created. I sculpted an oblong base and then rolled out the sides then slip and scored them together. I pinched together one side to make room for the handle and then shaped the lip of the pitcher. This is a functional piece because I put a glossy enamel making it safe to drimk out of. Right now, I’m using it to hold an old bouquet of yard picked flowers.
